1. PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES
The instrument has been designed in compliance with the safety directives relevant to
electronic measuring instruments. In order to prevent damaging the instrument, please
carefully follow the procedures described in this manual and read all notes preceded by
the symbol
with the utmost attention. Before and after carrying out the measurements,
carefully observe the following instructions:
•
Do not carry out any measurements in case gas, explosive materials or flammables are
present, or in dusty environments
•
Do not carry out any measurement in case you find anomalies such as deformation,
breaks, substance leaks, absence of display on the screen, etc.
CAUTION
If the instrument is used in a different way than specified in this user manual,
the protections provided for it could be compromised.
CAUTION
When this symbol is displayed, the instrument is radiating the laser. Always
prevent the laser from radiating to your eyes . Class 2 laser apparatus
according to EN 60825-1.

PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS
•
Only the accessories supplied with the instrument guarantee compliance with the
safety standards. They must be in good conditions and must be replaced, if necessary,
with identical models.
•
Do not carry out any measurement under conditions beyond the specifications in § 7.
•
Check that battery has been installed correctly.
1.2. DURING USE
Carefully read the following recommendations and instructions:
CAUTION

Non-compliance with the Warnings and/or Instructions given in this manual
may damage the instrument and/or its components or injure the operator.
•
If the symbol " " is displayed during use, stop testing and replace the
battery following the procedure described under § 6.2.

Remove the battery when the instrument remains unused for a long time.
