3.13 Lubrication scheme
Ball Bearings:
The grooved ball races used are permanently grease packed and sealed; no
further lubrication is required.
The 14 C6 swiveling rose bearings in the push rods and the dural bell cranks
are pre-greased and protected by felt seals, and these also are maintenance-
free over a long period.
The linear ball race guides of the control rods must not be greased. The
accessible parts of the control rods moving in the ball race guides must kept
clean.
The canopy locks must be kept well greased.
Clean and maintain dirty tow release coupling according to manufacturer
instructions.
Before rigging all shear pins and bushings, as well as the main bolts, on the
fuselage side and on the wing side, must be cleaned and slightly greased.
The spindle arm must be cleaned and slightly greased from time to time.
The guide tube of the landing gear lever must be cleaned and slightly greased
from time to time
