Chapter 4: Server troubleshooting

Power supply monitoring
The LED on the front of each power supply indicates the status of the power supply and when there is a problem,
such as a failed power supply. You can also view power supply status in your hypervisor manager. If a power
supply fails, contact
Customer Support (support.hpe.com)
for a replacement of the same type and wattage.
Each power supply has a status LED that indicates whether power is present or whether a power fault has
occurred. The status LED is located to the left of the red latch lever.

Network interface monitoring
Each server provides a two-port 1 GbE and a two-port 10 GbE interface used for network communication.
NOTE:
This example shows the interface locations for server 3 (in a chassis with 3 nodes) only, for ease of viewing.
All servers have identical interface locations. Optional NICs for guest VM networks may be installed in the HPE
SimpliVity 190 Gen10 system.
