To remove the component:
1.
Power down the server (on page

Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
3.
Remove the server (on page
4.
Remove the access panel (on page
5.
Remove the three screws securing the drive cage to the server, and then remove the drive cage.
6.
Disconnect the I/O cable.
Use a small, slender screwdriver to lift the front panel I/O board cable guard.
