1.

Release the adhesive support strip (1) that secures the display panel cable to the system board.

2.

Release the connector bar (2) that secures the display panel cable to the system board.

3.

Disconnect the display panel cable (3) from the system board.

4.

Disconnect the following cables from the system board:

●

Power cable (ZIF) (4)

●

Connector board cables (ZIF) (5)

●

Speaker cable (6)

●

Keyboard cable (ZIF) (7)

●

Touchpad cable (ZIF) (8)

5.

Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 5.2 screws (1) that secure the system board and the system board I/O 

bracket to the computer.

6.

Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.4 screws (2) that secure the system board to the computer.

7.

Remove the system board I/O bracket (3).

The system board I/O bracket is included in the Bracket Kit, spare part number N01962-001.
