
NOTE:
The SIM cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number N02955-001.
Before removing the SIM cable, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparation for disassembly on page 31
2.
Remove the bottom cover (see

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see
Remove the SIM cable:
1.
Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the SIM cable is connected, and then disconnect
the SIM cable from the system board.
2.
Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the SIM cable is connected, and then disconnect the SIM cable from
the connector board.
3.
Detach the SIM cable (3) from the computer. (The SIM cable is attached to the computer with double-sided
adhesive.)
4.
Remove the SIM cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the SIM cable.
Sensor board cable
To remove the sensor board cable, use this procedure and illustration.
