System board removal and replacement procedure
To remove the system board:
NOTE:
The system board spare part kit does not contain processors or DIMMs. These have to be
moved from the defective board and installed on the new board. Follow directions on the removal
and replacement of these parts.
1.
Disconnect all cables from the system board.
2.
Remove the six screws that secure the system board to the tray.
3.
Release the system board from the tray.

IMPORTANT:
Do not discard the screws. If the system board is removed, you must keep them for
future use.
To replace the system board:
1.
Put the system board in the tray. The screw holes on the tray should align with the holes on the system board.
2.
Fasten the screws to secure the system board to the tray.
3.
Connect all cables related to the system board.
