The HP System Management Homepage and Insight Management Agents are pre-installed on the
storage server. The Management Agents extend system management capabilities by integrating
HP Insight Diagnostics and the HP Network Con fi guration Utility. For more information, see

HP Systems Insight Manager
HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) provides hardware-level management for HP ProLiant, Integrity,
and HP 9000 servers; HP BladeSystems; and HP ProLiant Storage Servers, HP StorageWorks MSA, EVA,
and XP storage arrays. HP SIM also provides management of non-HP gear through industry standards.
It can be extended to provide system management with plug-ins for HP clients, storage, power, and
printer products.
NOTE:
ProLiant Storage Servers can only be a managed device within the network managed by HP Systems
Insight Manager. The Microsoft End User License Agreement (EULA) shipped with the storage server
states that the ProLiant Storage Sever cannot host the HP Systems Insight Management application
and serve as the HP SIM host for the network.

Accessing HP Insight Management Agents
The HP Insight Management Agents for Servers enable you to view subsystem and status information
from a Web browser, either locally or remotely.
To view data locally on the HP Data Protection Storage Server, access
https://127.0.0.1:2381 or
https://localhost:2381 . The Management Agents can also be browsed locally on the HP Data Protection
