HP Trusted Platform Module Option

NOTE:
The TPM (Trusted Platform Module) is a microcontroller chip that can securely
store artifacts used to authenticate the server platform. These artifacts can include
passwords, certificates and encryption keys. Windows® BitLocker™ Drive Encryption
(BitLocker) is a data protection feature available in Windows Server® 2008. BitLocker
leverages the enhanced security capabilities of a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
version 1.2. The TPM works with BitLocker to help protect user data and to ensure that
a server running Windows Server 2008 has not been tampered with while the system

NOTE:
ProLiant OS pre-installed units will come with the partition required for TPM
deployment.
NOTE:
The TPM key is unique to every TPM deployed server and must be retained.
Misplacing or losing the key could result in data loss.

The Graphic Power Adapter Kit can support up to 150 Watts.
NOTE:
A full-length graphic card cannot fit in the models which have one of the PCIe
expansion slots already populated with SAS controller.

HP Storage Controllers
NOTE:
The addition of storage controllers for internal hard drive use is intended for use
ONLY with the Hot Plug SATA/SAS Model Chassis (P/N 491532-B21). The addition of a
storage controller to the Non-Hot Plug Model Chassis (P/N 491531-B21) is supported
for external storage ONLY.
NOTE:
To utilize the internal only slot, the HP Smart Array P410 Controller must be
selected. The selection of the HP Smart Array P212 Controller for internal and external
connectivity, will require the use of the Full Length Full Height PCI-E x16 slot
