HP 3125 Notebook PC
HP recommends Windows 8.
1.
This system requires a separately purchased 64-bit operating system and 64-bit software products to take advantage of the 64-bit
processing capabilities of the AMD 64 processor. Given the wide range of software applications available, performance of a system including
a 64-bit operating system will vary. Multi- Core is designed to improve performance of multithreaded software products and hardware-
aware multitasking operating systems and may require appropriate operating system software for full benefit. Not all customers or
software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology. This PC does not support the AMD over-clocking feature. AMD’s
numbering is not a measurement of clock speed.
2.
For hard drives, GB = 1 billion bytes. TB = 1 trillion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 16GB (for Windows 7) of system and up to
36GB (for Windows 8) disk is reserved for system recovery software.
3.
Don’t copy copyright-protected materials. Actual speeds may vary. Double Layer media compatibility will widely vary with some home DVD
players and DVD-ROM drives. Note that DVD-RAM cannot read or write to 2.6GB Single Sided/5.2 Double Sided-Version 1.0 Media.

As HD DVD is a new format containing new technologies, certain disc, digital connection, compatibility and/or performance issues may arise,
and do not constitute defects in the product. Flawless playback on all systems is not guaranteed. In order for some HD-DVD titles to play,
they may require an HDMI digital connection and your display may require HDCP support. Blu-ray disks cannot be played on this drive. Note
that DVD-RAM cannot read or write to 2.6GB Single Sided/5.2 GB Double Sided – Version 1.0 media. Actual speeds may vary. Don’t copy
copyright-protected materials. Double Layer discs can store more data than single layer discs; discs burned with this drive may not be
compatible with many existing single-layer DVD drives and players.
9.

(which may or may not be included with your particular product): Adobe® Acrobat Reader 7.0, Adobe® Illustrator® CS2, Adobe® Photoshop®
CS2, Apple® QuickTime 7.1, Intervideo® WinDVD® 8, Macromedia® Flash 8, Microsoft® Office® 2003 Pro, Microsoft® Project 2003, and WinZip®
10.0. Prior to testing, the system was fully charged and set to display brightness of 60 nits, auto dim disabled, wireless off, suspend and
hibernate disabled and all other programs, utilities, and services not essential to running the computer system or battery life test. Battery
life will vary depending on the product model, configuration, loaded applications, features, use, wireless functionality and power
management settings. The maximum capacity of the battery will naturally decrease with time and usage.
15.
Dual Channel is only supported when the system is configured with DDR2 symmetric memory (i.e. 2x256).
16.
Maximum memory capacities require Windows 64-bit operating systems or Linux. With Windows 32-bit operating systems, memory above
3 GB may not all be available due to system resource requirements.
