Removal and Replacement Procedures

5. Remove the hard drive by following these steps:

a. Turn the notebook upside down with the rear panel 

toward you.

b. Loosen the 2 PM2.5×6.0 captive screws 

1

 that secure the 

hard drive cover to the notebook.

c. Lift the right side of the hard drive cover up and swing 

it to the left

 to disconnect the hard drive from the 

notebook.

d. Remove the hard drive.
