Downloading Software
Use this procedure in either of the following cases:
■
You are installing a 10Base-FL Module in your Switch 2000 for the first
time.
■
A 10Base-FL Module is already installed in the Switch 2000 and you now
want to upgrade the operating system (OS) to a newer version.
Do You Need To Download a New OS Version?
The 10Base-FL Module
requires OS version A.02.01 or later to operate in the Switch 2000. To deter-
mine which OS version is running in the switch, go to the Main Menu in the
Switch 2000 Console Interface and do the following:
1.
Select
Statistics
to display the Statistics screen.
2.
Select
Switch Information
to display the Switch Information screen.
