This appendix provides information about connecting Small Comput-
er System Interface (SCSI) devices to an HP 9000 J282/2240
workstation.

The instructions in this chapter assume you are using the HP-UX 
version 10.20 or later operating system with the HP VUE version 3.0
interface.

NOTICE:

When attaching external SCSI devices, be sure
to terminate the last device on the external
SCSI bus. If no external devices are attached,
the SCSI connector on the rear of the system
must be terminated with the terminator that was
shipped with your workstation.
