The HPE 595032QSFP28 and HPE 5950 48SFP28 8QSFP28 switches can operate correctly with
only one power supply. You can install two power supplies on the switch for 1+1 redundancy.

The HPE 5950 4-slot switch can operate correctly with two power supplies. You can install four
power supplies on the switch for 2+2 redundancy.

To ensure heat dissipation, make sure all fan tray slots on the switch have fan trays installed and the
fan trays are the same model.
