Before removing the webcams, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.
Remove the display assembly (see
Display assembly on page 26
).
5.
Remove the system board (see
System board on page 42
).
Remove the webcams:
1.
To remove the forward-facing webcam, disconnect the webcam cable from the power
button board and remove the webcam and cable.
2.
To remove the rear-facing webcam, turn the system board upside down, with the webcam
toward you.
