Remove the bottom cover (see

Disconnect the battery (see

).

TIP:

You do not have to remove the heat sink to remove the system board. You can remove the heat sink 

with the system board still installed.

Remove the heat sink:

1.

Loosen the four captive Phillips screws 

(1) that secure the heat sink to the system board.

2.

Remove the heat sink
