Getting Started Guide

This histogram display shows a single histogram distribution,
corresponding to the data-to-clock measurement configuration. With
dual-channel measurements there are often systematic timing differences
(skew) between the measured edges of each channel. This can occur for
numerous reasons: cable length differences, propagation delays in circuit
access points, etc. The TIA has been calibrated so that internal path
length differences should not contribute significant timing skew.

Select Control>Adjust Input 1 to 2 Reference.
The software provides a way to remove systematic channel differences.
The “Reference” value on this form identifies a number that is used to
zero-out timing skew. This value is applied to Input 1 to 2 measurements.
For this demo, the reference was set to 13.1 ns. The reference value is
reported on the status bar (lower right corner) of the application. Note
