Introduction
Overview
The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port Adapter is a dual-port, 10 Gb SFP+ adapter that supports Gen7 and
Gen8 ML/DL/SL ProLiant servers and uses the Intel 82599 (Niantic) chipset.

LEDs
The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port Adapter has two ports with LEDs for Link (L) and Activity (A) for each
port. A standard-height bracket is shown in the following illustration with SFP+ ports and LEDs.
The HP Ethernet 10Gb 2-port Adapter LEDs operate as described in the following table.

Indicates network activity on the link. The adapter is
sending or receiving network data at up to 10 Gb/s.
