Slide the keyboard back toward the display

, and then rotate it forward

until it rests upside-
down on the palm rest.
7.
Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector

to which the keyboard cable is attached, and
disconnect the keyboard cable

from the system board.
8.
Remove the keyboard.
Reverse this procedure to install the switch cover and keyboard.
