This sheet contains additional up to date infor-
mation referring to Scorpion fs 26 and
Scorpion fs 26 S-Pedelec operating instruc-
tions, edition January 2013.All additions are
written in wide fonts unless it is a complete
paragraph.

Safety instructions (S-Pedelec)

The operating licence already assures that the
S-Pedelec meets all legal requirements for tak-
ing part in public traffic in Germany by the
time it is being put into operation.The
rider always has to carry the operating licence
and the insurance card while riding.

The rider must wear a proper helmet while ri-
ding the S-Pedelec.

Currently, to ride the Scorpion fs 26 S-Pedelec
in Germany a driving license class M or AM is
required.

It is not allowed to use bicycle lanes in
towns/villages. Please inform about present re-
gulations in your country regarding driving li-
cences, the use of bicycle lanes, riding on paths
away from the road, wearing helmets etc. fre-
quently.

Towing a child trailer is not allowed. It is
allowed to tow a trailer for goods
(multi-track only). It must be type ap-
proved. It’s weight must not exceed
40 kg.

Folding

Before folding shift your gears to smallest
chainring and smalles sprocket.This will make
folding easier.

After dismounting the seat tighten the quick
release again to the quick release axle from
bending when the folding buffer touches the
frame.When securing the frame against unfol-
ding, always apply the velcro strap backwards
around the cross tube.

In case your Scorpion fs 26 is equipped with
long handlebars, please use the quick release at
the stem clamp to fold the left handlebar side
to the front (see page 16). Make sure taht
after unfolding the frame the handle-
bar is set back into its original posi-
tion and the quick release is closed
completely.

Velotechnik before they are sent out.After as-
sembling them to the trike a final alignment
must be perfomed.

Caution!

If the gear system is not in smal-

lest sprocket and smallest chainring the
chain may be tightened so far that the rear
derailleur can be damaged or the derailleur
hanger can be torn.
