Immediately inspect the patio heater if
one of the following events occurs:
- The patio heater does not achieve the
required temperature.
- The burner makes a knocking sound
during use (although it is normal for the
burner to make a noise when you turn it
off .
- There is a smell of gas and the ames
are completely yellow.
Leak test
The gas pipe transmission is leak-tested at
the factory before transport. You must carry
out a leak test in the place of installation
to ensure that the patio heater has not
developed a leak during transport, or
because it has been exposed to excessive
gas pressure.
Mix up 25 ml of washing-up liquid and 75
ml of water.
Check that the regulator is closed. Attach
the regulator to the gas bottle and open it.
Brush the hose and all the connections with
the solution. If bubbles appear, there is a
leak which must be dealt with before you
can use the patio heater.
Deal with the problem and carry out a new
leak test.
If you cannot deal with the problem, the
patio heater must not be used!
Close the regulator after the leak test.
Do not smoke or use a naked ame when
testing for a leak.
