The C - 448 becomes applicable
to maximum 350 mm head tube.

C - 448 - 1 BEARING
The exclusive replacement bearing for

Turn the handle counterclockwise to relieve the pressure and release the stop
to detach Press B from the shaft
.
Remove the C - 448 from the head tube.

If installation of the head cups is not satisfactory, carefully try once more from the
beginning. If the installation is still not satisfactory, check to see if the top and
bottom surface of the head tube are parallel, and make any necessary corrections.
Then try again to install the head cups. Do not use excessive force to install the
head cups, as this could damage the tool or the head cups.

Caution
Operation
Grease the screws of the shaft, the bearing and the rubbing portions periodically. This sup-
presses the rubbed metals wearing down. Greasing prior to every work after wiping off the
leavings is effective.
