CLOSED
Air in system
Open and close trigger gun several times.
Unloader out of adjustment or
defective
Call a qualified service technician to adjust
or replace unloader valve.
Water leak between unloader valve and
trigger gun
Check fittings, hose and trigger gun for
leaks. Repair or replace.
PILOT DOES NOT LIGHT
Gas valve closed
Set gas valve ON/OFF knob to pilot.
Gas leak in pilot
Call qualified service technician.
PILOT IGNITES BUT WILL
NOT STAY ON WHEN ON/
OFF KNOB IS RELEASED
Pilot too far away from thermocouple
Adjust thermocouple closer to flame.
Thermocouple loose at gas valve
Tighten to firm fit.
SHORT
THERMOCOUPLE
LIFE
Excessive heat from pilot flame
Decrease pilot supply gas.
Thermocouple too close to pilot
Adjust thermocouple farther away.
GFCI TRIPPED
Device has not been reset
Follow instructions on GFCI.
Defective GFCI device
Replace.
Line to ground fault
Contact qualified electrician to troubleshoot
for ground fault.
