• While the water is boiling or just after the water has boiled, avoid any
contact with the steam.
• Risk of scalding: the kettle gets hot during use. Therefore use only the
handle to pick it up and open the lid only after the kettle has cooled
down.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance full of hot
water.
• Always
take
care
to
pour
boiling
water
slowly
and
carefully
without
tipping
the
kettle
too
fast
as boiling water may cause scalds. Do not open the lid while the water
in the kettle is hot.
• Be carefull when refilling a hot kettle.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply before
carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation.
•
Never use steam cleaning equipment.
•
Carefully wipe the ouside of the appliance to remove any dust that may
have accumulated, then dry it with a soft cloth. Do not use any harsh
abrasive cleaners, alkaline cleaning agents or scouring agents.
•
Wash the accessories in warm soapy water, then dry with a dry towl.
