You are using a too-high temperature. Clean the soleplate (see
chapter “Cleaning and maintenance”, section “Cleaning”).

You are using starch. You can use starch directly on the inside out of
the fabrics and in any case never in the water reservoir.
•
The garment was not washed correctly or has some soap residues.
• You are ironing a new garment that was not washed for the irst time.
•
Not enough water in the water reservoir. Fill the water reservoir.
The soleplate is dirty or dark
and may stain the fabrics.
The spray function does not
work.
