Sanitising Procedure - Following Cleaning Procedure
) Dilute approximately 5 ml or tbs of a 5.25% sodium
hypochlorite solution (chlorine bleach) with 3.8 litres of warm
water. Using a chlorine test strip or other method, confirm that
you have a concentration of about 200 ppm.
2) Soak the removed parts from step 7 above in a clean container
containing the sanitising solution. After allowing the parts to soak
for 0 minutes, wash them with the solution. Also wash the bin
liner, Bracket (L) (R) with the solution.
3) Discard the sanitising solution and rinse the parts thoroughly with
water.
4) Replace the removed parts in their correct positions in the reverse
order of which they were removed.
5) Same as step .
6) Pour the sanitising solution into the Water Tank, and allow the
sanitiser to sit for 0 minutes.
7) Move the Control Switch to the “SERVICE” position and the
Service Switch to the “WASH” position.
8) After 5 minutes, move the Control Switch to the “OFF” position.
9) Move the Control Switch to the “SERVICE” position and the
Service Switch to the “DRAIN” position.
0) After 2 minutes, move the Control Switch to the “OFF” position.
) Repeat steps 5 through 0 one time. Repeat steps 9 through 2
in the Cleaning Procedure three times to rinse thoroughly.
2) Flush the Storage Bin with water.
3) Move the Control Switch to the “ICE” position, and start the
automatic icemaking process.
4) Close the Door. Replace the Louver in its correct position.
2. BEFORE CALLING A SERVICE AGENT
If the icemaker does not work properly or does not work at all, before
calling for service, check that:

* The power is supplied to the unit.
* The Control Switch is in the “ICE” position.
* The water is turned on.
* The Air Filter is clean.

3. WARRANTY
Hoshizaki provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the
customer’s own country of residence, for two years starting from the
date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.
The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by Hoshizaki’s
authorised service centre. When making a claim under the warranty,
the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted.
The warranty will not apply in cases of:
* Normal wear and tear
* Incorrect use, e.g. overloading of the appliance, use of non-
approved accessories
* Use of force, damage caused by external influences
* Damage caused by non-observance or the user manual, e.g.
connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with
the installation instructions
* Partially or completely dismantled appliances
* Harsh installation/environmental conditions, e.g. premature damage
to water circuit due to unfiltered hard water or damage to cooling
system due to high dust environments
