Parking
DANGER
Serious accidents caused by the machine roll-
ing away!

Before unhitching secure the machine with the
parking brake and/or wheel chocks.
¾
When unhitching machines with pneumatic
brake always disconnect the
red
connection
(supply line) first.
WARNING
Risk of accident due to insufficient stability
¾
Park the machine only with empty hopper.
¾
Park the machine on a flat, paved surface. If
this is not possible, park the machine at least
on flat and firm ground.
NOTE
Clean the machine and prepare properly before
parking it for an extended period; see chapter
Care and Maintenance.
Tiger 3 and 4 MT rigid
1. Fully lift out the machine via packer and trac-
tor link arm.
2. Fold and secure the support.
3. Remove the aluminium clips on the packer
cylinders and lower the machine via packer
and tractor link arm.
4. Lower the machine carefully on hard ground
to prevent damaging the coulter tips.
5. Depressurise the hydraulics.
6. Apply the parking brake and secure the ma-
chine against rolling away.
7. Disconnect the hydraulic lines.
8. Disconnect brake lines.
9. Disconnect the lighting connections.
10.Unhitch the machine.
Tiger 4 MT tractor link arm
hitching
1. Fully lift out the machine via packer and trac-
tor link arm.
2. Fold and secure the support.
3. Close the lock valve for the levelling discs
and the TopRing Packer (option).
4. Set the 3-way valve to
Road
.
5. Remove the aluminium clips on the packer
cylinders and lower the machine via centre
packer and tractor link arm.
6. Enough aluminium clips must be put on the
cylinders to prevent the lateral wings from
contacting the ground and to ensure uniform
weight distribution between packer and tine
field or support.
7. Keep operating the control unit to retract the
side packers.
8. Watch out for collisions of the side packers;
insert aluminium clips on the cylinders of the
side packers, if necessary.
9. Depressurise the hydraulics.
10.Apply the parking brake and secure the ma-
chine against rolling away.
11.Disconnect the hydraulic lines.
12.Disconnect brake lines.
13.Disconnect the lighting connections.
14.Unhitch the machine.
