Road transportation
For transport on public roads the Terrano must
be converted to transport position.
The safety covering (tine guards) and a type
approval are necessary.
For road transportation no machines should be
hitched to the Terrano FG.
Fold the machine.
Assemble the safety guards for the tines.
Plug in the lighting and check the function.
Check the folding lock and the hitching con-
nection.
Lift the machine.
Fill the piston rod on the hydraulic cylinder
with aluminium clips and lower the machine
onto these clips.
The aluminium clips protect the hy-
draulic system against overloads and
are mandatory for transport on public
roads.
Unfolding and folding
Perform folding operations only after the ma-
chine has been raised!
When operating hydraulic components, slow
down the control unit before the machine com-
ponents reach the limit stop.
On slopes do not fold the Terrrano 10 and 12 FG
across the slope - danger of tipping over.
Persons must not remain in the op-
erating range of foldable machine
components.






Terrano 6 and 8 FG
Folding:
Lift the machine completely.
Operate the “Wing” control and fold both wings
completely in.
The safety catch automatically clicks into
place.
Fill the piston rod on the hydraulic cylinder
with aluminium clips and lower the machine
onto these clips.
Only 8 FG: Switch the lever on the valve block
over to transport position.
Operate the “Lift” control and retract the sup-
port wheels to transport width.
Unfolding:
Lift the machine.
Remove the aluminium clips from the lift
cylinders.
Only 8 FG: Switch the lever on the valve block
over to working position.
Operate the “Wing” control. The folding lock
opens automatically. Slowly unfold both wings
and fully extend the wing cylinders.
Only 8 FG: Operate the “Lift” control and fully
extend all wheels. All hydraulic cylinders are
thereby also levelled in height (equalized in
height).
