The soybean kit has the inside
scraper “C” already installed in
the meter housing.
The scraper must be free to move,
and it should rest against the
metering disk. This can be
checked through the opening in
the air intake dust screen.
Wear and Inspection of Inside
Scraper
The inside scraper wears off in the area of the
marking and must be replaced in case of visible
signs of wear.
The shape of the scraper point must be
maintained. The smallest traces of wear or
flatness will cause faults.
In new condition, the material thickness is 9 mm.
If worn down to less than 8 mm, the inside
scraper must be replaced.
Inspection of Inside Scraper
Fill Level Plate
The fill level plate regulates the amount of seed
that fills into the meter housing. It has 9 stages
of adjustment.
Fill Level Plate
A too high filling level in the chamber impairs the
performance of the scraper and the grain pick-
up, a too low level, in contrast, will negatively
affect the grain pick-up. To adjust: slightly loosen
the screw, adjust the plate all the way to the lock
and retighten the screw.
