Bleeding the Air conditioning
Sometimes, especially after sailing when it is rough out, there is a need to
bleed the air conditioning. If the AC is turned on but the temp unit reads
“Hi” it means there is a high pressure in the AC pump caused by air, this air
then needs to be bled out of the system.
To bleed the system, turn off the AC unit.
From the air conditioning pumps ( located under the floorboards in both
hulls) find the bleed valve, open the bleed valve to let the air out. Then
make sure to close the valve again.
Leaving the valve open will keep
water flowing into the boat and can result in the boat sinking.
Turn the AC back on.
