agitator. Replace 2 screws.

position new belt on agitator
brushroll
With lettering on outside of belt, insert
agitator brushroll through belt and
position belt in groove (F) on agitator
brushroll.

Installing agitator brushroll
Grasp agitator brushroll firmly and fit it
into position by first sliding end oppo-
site the belt into the rectangular slot
(G) on side of cleaner.
Pull other side of agitator brushroll
into place.

Remove 2 screws from bottom plate.
Removing hood
Lower cleaner base so it is flat on the
floor.
Remove 2 screws located at back of
hood (A). Lift hood off.
Remove 2 screws on agitator cover
(B).
Grasp agitator (C) and pull up to
remove from agitator cavity.
Slide belt (D) off agitator.
Remove belt from motor shaft (E).
Discard used belt.
Lift agitator cover off.
