Fill container (16 oz.) with HOOVER
Carpet/Upholstery Detergent or
HOOVER Hard Floor Cleaning Solution.
Do not use Hard Floor Cleaning Solution on
carpet or upholstery.
Do not use any type
of wax with your SteamVac™ carpet
cleaner.
To assure proper results,
use only
HOOVER detergent.
Replace container cap and tighten.
NOTE: Use only HOOVER detergents.
They are specially formulated for use
with your SteamVac™ carpet cleaner.
CAUTION: Detergents contain
Anionic and Nonionic Surfactants.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In
case of contact with eyes, flush with
cold water for 15 minutes. In case of
contact with skin, wash with water. If
irritation persists, call a physician.
Position bottom of tank onto cleaner
using one hand on each side of the tank
to center it on the unit.
NOTE: the tank pivots towards the back
of the unit.
To fill detergent container (F),
turn cap
counterclockwise and remove cap.
DO NOT REMOVE
detergent container
from tank.
Fill tank (E) (1 gallon) with hot tap water.
CAUTION: Do not fill with water above
140°F (60°C).
Replace tank cap and tighten.

Carry tank to a sink.
Turn tank cap counterclockwise and
remove cap.

while supporting the back of the
