Start the engine

 

Check  that  the  gear  lever  is  in  the  P  or  N  position  and  the  electronic  parking  brake  has  been 

applied. 

Sit in the driver's seat and firmly depress the brake pedal (the indicator lamp of the engine (start) 

switch is green). 

 

 

Press the engine (start) switch to start the engine. 
The  engine  can  be  started  in  any  mode  of  the  engine 
(start) switch. 

 

Stop the engine 

Completely stop the vehicle. 

Operate the gear lever to P gear. 

Apply the parking brake. (See P.132) 

Press the engine (start) switch to stop the engine, and the switch indicator turns off.
