USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER
NOTE: Position humidifier to direct mist output away from walls, furniture and bedding.
Plug the filled humidifier into a polarized 120V outlet
CAUTION: TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT PLUG HUMIDIFIER INTO AN OUTLET
WITH WET HANDS.
1. Power:
Press the Power Icon
to turn on. The unit will default to high output, continuous humidity setting.
Press again to turn off. If humidifier was programmed before turning off, previous settings will be remembered.
Unplugging the humidifier resets to default settings.
When unit runs out of water the Power icon will turn orange and the humidifier will turn off. Refill the Water Tank
and replace on Base to resume operation.
2. Mist Output:
Press the Mist Output icon
to toggle between low, medium and high mist level settings. A
higher setting will deliver mist into the room at a higher rate. The water level in the Water Tank will decrease
faster on a higher setting, since more moisture is going into the air. A lower setting will provide less moisture
output and run longer before the Water Tank needs to be refilled.
3. Humidistat:
This humidifier features a humidistat with 4 preset comfort levels. Press the
Humidity Control icon
to select a humidity level. The settings are approximately 40%, 50%, 60% and
70% Relative Humidity (RH). When a humidity level is set, the humidifier will turn on and off to maintain the
set humidity level. To override the humidistat and run on continuous mode, press the Humidity Control icon
until no levels are selected. A comfortable humidity level is between 40-60%. Consider using a humidity monitor
to display current room humidity and temperature.
4. Humidity Reached:
When the set humidity level is reached, the green Humidity Reached icon
will illuminate
and the mist will turn off. As long as this light is illuminated, the humidifier will not produce mist. Once the
humidity level drops below the set humidity level, the green light will turn off and the humidifier will start running
again. To increase the set humidity level, press the Humidity Control icon
to increase the set humidity level.
CONDENSATION:
If you notice condensation on the walls, windows or around the humidifier, the humidity
level is too high. Open doors to the room or turn off humidifier until humidity level drops.
Mist Outlet
This humidifier features a directional Mist Outlet. Use this feature to direct the mist
where you want it most. The Outlet will rotate up to 90º in each direction from
front to reduce white dust ingestion in the rear air input vent.
