Wiring the LYNXDM-GSM/LYNXDM-IGSM
1. Install a jumper wire between terminals 2 and 3 on the communication modules’s terminal strip.
2. Connect the 4-wire communication cable to the communication module’s terminal strip (refer to Figure 5).
3. If you are installing a LYNXDM-IGSM, connect the incoming cable/DSL connector to the receptacle on the
communication module.
4. Secure the wiring to the built-in wire loops using tie wraps, as required.
5. After the wiring connections are complete, carefully reconnect the ribbon cable to the LYNXR-I front case
circuit board connector (properly aligning the red wire).
6. Snap the assembled LYNXR-I and the wall or desk mount front case to the mount’s back case so it is
secured by the locking tabs.
