Voice Chime 

 

When you start using your system you will notice that the Lynx 5100 actually talks to 

you and tells a lot of audible information so that you don’t have to go look at the keypad to see 

what is happening. Some people do not enjoy the voice and just want a simple chime to do this 

follow the steps above for 

CHIME 

mode but instead of toggling the chime option you will 

toggle the 

VOICE 

option. 

Adding Codes 

Another feature is you can have 48 different codes programmed into your alarm system and are 

able to add and delete them as you like. (Be sure to make a list of all the codes and contact R.J. 

Beck 419-668-3056 if you change codes so your code is valid with Emergency24) To add a user 

code select the 

MORE 

button in the bottom right hand corner and then select the 

TOOLS 

button

 and then enter your four digit code. This will take you to the screen below. 

 once here select the 

USERS 

button 

 once you select this

 then you will select 

ADD NEW 

 

and then select the area that says 

USER CODE 

and then enter the new code be sure 

to hit save.
