OPERATION/USING THE THERMOSTAT

TROUBLESHOOTING

:

If your heater shuts off unexpectedly, safety fea-
tures may have been activated to prevent over-
heating.  If this happens:

Be sure the heater is plugged in and the elec-
trical outlet is working.

Check your temperature setting.  The heater
may simply be off because you have reached
your desired heat setting.

Check for any obstructions.  If you find an
obstruction, turn the heater OFF and unplug it.
Allow the heater to cool completely, then
remove the obstruction.  Wait at least 10 min-
utes, then replug in the heater and follow the
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS.

This heater has a caution light.  DO NOT oper-
ate the heater while the caution light is on.

If the caution light goes on, immediately turn
the heater OFF and check that no obstructions
are on or touching the heater.

Wait at least 10 minutes for the heater to cool
prior to restarting as described in the OPERA-
TION INSTRUCTIONS.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
REGARDING THE PLUG ON YOUR
PRODUCT

•FIG 1

• Place the heater on a firm, level, open surface free from

obstructions at least 3 feet (0.9m) away from any com-
bustible material.

• With Power Knob in the OFF position, plug the heater into

a polarized grounded outlet.

• Turn the Thermostat fully clockwise to the HIGH setting.
• To turn the heater on, turn the Power Knob clockwise to

the ON position.  The Power light will illuminate.

• When the room reaches a comfortable temperature,

slowly turn the Thermostat until the heater goes off.  This

room temperature.  At this setting, the Thermostat will
automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain this
