Timelapse Recording Setup
Timelapse video clips are stored in the timelapse disk drive partition. This chapter
describes how to record and store timelapse clips only.
It is possible to schedule your HRDVS to store both timelapse clips and event clips.
Events (motion, text, or alarm) generate event files that are written to the event partition. To
store event clips (for example, motion or text) in the event disk drive partition, see
Chapter 11, Event Recording Setup
This chapter describes how to use the timelapse settings to select the global record rate
and compression setting for Timelapse Recording.
Caution
If you use your HRDVS as a combined timelapse/event recorder, the
event recording settings override the timelapse settings when an
event is detected. When the system detects an event, the timelapse
recording stops and the event recording settings are used instead.
After the event recording ceases, timelapse recording will restart at
its defined parameters. See
Chapter 11, Event Recording Setup
