2. The following table describes the fields on the Reports screen. Change these fields as
desired to create a report.
Text Report Criteria
A search based on text criteria searches both timelapse and event clips. The result is based
on all video clips (timelapse and event) that contain the text string and/or numbers
searched. To set search criteria on which a text report is based:
1. Go to the Create New Report screen ( Main Setup
➤
Reports
➤
Create New
Report ).
2. In the What kind of report? field, enable Text .
3. Select Report Criteria Setup , then press Enter . Figure 16-3 displays.
Field Description
Title Name each report.
Use the control buttons to scroll through letters and numbers. Make the title field
active by highlighting it, then press
Enter . Camera 1 button inserts or appends a
letter. Camera 2 button deletes a letter. Camera 3 button enables the Text Entry
screen. When you are satisfied with your report title, press
Enter .

What kind of report? Enable the type of report. Options are:
Text . Based on text data in the Text transaction information
Event . Based on clip type
Report Criteria Setup Takes you to either the Text Criteria screen or the Event Criteria screen where you
define the search parameters on which this report is based.

When to search? Limits your report based on a time segment. Options are:
Previous (default). The specified number of minutes, hours, and days previous to
the current time.
Between . Set start and end parameters.
Before . Searches all the video recorded before the date and time specified.
After . Searches all the video recorded after the date and time specified.
