If AREA is selected, do the following:
a.
Press the joystick to enter the
POSITION
adjustment screen, and then
adjust the position of the BLC area by moving the joystick up or down, left or
right.
b.
Press the joystick again to enter the
SIZE
adjustment screen, and then
adjust the size of the BLC area by moving the joystick up or down, left or
right.
c.
If you are satisfied with position and size of the BLC area, select
RET
to save
your settings and return to the BLC menu. If you want to change your
settings, select
AGAIN
to return to the POSITION adjustment screen.
If HSBLC is selected, do the following:
1.
Press the joystick to enter the HSBLC menu.
2.
Set the desired
GAIN
level. Select a value between
0
and
8
. The default setting is 8.
3.
Set
MODE
to
ALL DAY
(default) or
NIGHT ONLY
, depending on the needs of your
application.
4.
If you want to set HSBLC to the default settings, select
DEFAULT
.
5.
Select
RETURN
to save your settings and return to the EXPOSURE menu.
D-WDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range)
3D DNR provides intelligent light level control for even strongly backlit scenes.
Set D-WDR to
OFF
(default),
INDOOR
, or
OUTDOOR
.
If INDOOR or OUTDOOR is selected, do the following:
1.
Press the joystick to enter the D-WDR menu.
2.
Set
LOW LEVEL
to a value between
0
and
15
. The default indoor setting is 4. The
default outdoor setting is 0. This setting compensates for under-exposed areas in
the scene. The higher the value, the brighter the dark areas in the scene will be.
3.
Set
HIGH LEVEL
to a value between
0
and
15
. The default indoor setting is 11. The
default outdoor setting is 0. This setting compensates for over-exposed areas in the
scene. The higher the value, the darker the bright areas in the scene will be.
4.
Select
RETURN
to save your settings and return to the EXPOSURE menu.
5.
In the EXPOSURE menu, select
RETURN
to return to the SETUP menu.
