6.2.3.1 Antenna installation for housings with mounting bracket
For housings mounted on the wall using a mounting bracket,
such as
the ZG2 housing
the procedure is as follows:
Observe the following before mounting the housing on
the wall:
Lay both antenna cables along the rear wall of
the housing. Use an adhesive tab and cable tie to secure
the antenna cable, thus preventing any mechanical tension
or stress on the cable.
Insert the antenna cable into the housing.
Perform the installation, complete mounting of the housing.
Lead the antenna cable out at the
cut-out (notch)
of the
antenna mounting bracket.
After final mounting of the housing, insert the antenna from
above between the fixing screw and the mounting bracket
for the housing. Make sure that it is securely positioned.
Use the fixing screws to prevent the housing from detach-
ing.
Please observe the following when using the ZG20 hous-
ing:
At the top edge of the mounting position of the ZG20 hous-
ing, first screw both antennas to the wall at a distance of
approx. 30 cm apart.
Then screw the bottom of the ZG20 housing to the wall
directly below the antennas. The housing design means
that the ZG20 housing cover can easily be mounted after
installation.
Perform the installation.

6.2.3.2 Antenna installation for housings with suspension rail and mounting
bolts (ZG3.1)
For housings mounted on the wall using a suspension rail and
mounting bolts, such as the ZG3.1 housing, the procedure is as
follows:
Screw the suspension rail to the wall.
Screw both antenna brackets to the wall at a distance of
approx. 2 cm above the suspension rail, see position (1) in
the illustration.
The antenna is mounted on the wall independently of the
housing. The distances allow the housing to be attached
and detached again as required.
