The PCB is mounted on a designated free space
provided in the panel housing (designated as
"optional") of the intrusion alarm control panel
(see the installation instructions for the intrusion
alarm control panel). The panel housings ZG20,
ZG3.1 or ZG4 are suitable for use. The 3 plastic
stud bolts (Lemosa), as well as the metal stud
bolt already present on the bottom of the hous-
ing, serve as mechanical support points for the
PCB. The PCB is connected with the metal stud
via the fastening hole in the metal contact sur-
face. This simultaneously establishes the earth
connection to the housing.
Mount the circuit board on the base of
the control panel using the supplied fixing
material.
Secure the corner of the circuit board
marked PE with a metal screw.

The MB-Secure IP USB communication module should only be installed when the
system is disconnected from the power supply. Observe the mounting and instal-
lation instructions of the MB-Secure intrusion detection central unit.
The USB cable connection from the MB-Secure control panel to the USB-HUB
must be made with the supplied USB cable. Do not extend this cable! Do not use
a commercially available USB cable, as this may cause transmission problems. If
possible, choose a mounting location in the vicinity of the MB-Secure processor
board.
4.2
Connection MB-Secure IP USB communication module
The following connection instructions apply in the same way to both modules when connected to
the MB-Secure:
MB-Secure 4G IP USB extension module (art. no. 057810) and
MB-Secure IP USB communication module (art. no. 057820)
When connecting via the USB connection, a maximum of one module per control
panel may be used.
When connecting the MB-Secure IP USB communication module or MB-Secure
4G IP USB extension module to the processor board,
