Rear Wheel
Removal
1.
Place your motorcycle on its side stand on
a firm, level surface.
2.
Raise the rear wheel off the ground using
a maintenance stand or a hoist.
3.
Remove the rear brake adjusting nut.
4.
Disconnect the brake rod from the brake
arm.
5.
Loosen the drive chain lock nuts and drive
chain adjusting nuts on both sides of the
swingarm.
6.
Remove the rear axle nut.
7.
Remove the drive chain from the rear
wheel sprocket by pushing the rear wheel
forward.
8.
Remove the rear axle shaft, rear axle
washer, side collars and rear wheel from
the swingarm.
