IDLE SPEED
The idle speed adj ustment proced ure
given here should only be used when
changes in altitude affect normal idle
speed as set by your dealer. See your
authorized Honda dealer for regularly
sched uled carburetor adj ust ments, in clud
ing individ ual carburetor adjust ment and
synchronization .
NOTE :

The engine must be w arm for accurate
idle speed adj ustment . Ten minutes of
stop-and-go riding is sufficient .
I . Warm up the engin e , shift to neutral
and place the motorcy cle on it s center
stand .
2 . Adjust idle speed with the throttle
sto p screw (I ).
I d le Speed : I ,000 ± I 00 rpm
