Flooded Engine
(Using the start button)
If the engine fails to start after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded with excess fuel.
To clear a flooded engine, push the choke
lever to Fully OFF (C). Open the throttle
fully and press the start button for 5
seconds. Follow the ‘‘High Air
Temperature’’ Starting Procedure (page
46).
(Using the kickstarter)
If the engine fails to start after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded with excess fuel.
To clear a flooded engine, push the choke
lever to Fully OFF (C). Open the throttle
fully and crank the engine several times
with the kickstarter. Follow the ‘‘High Air
Temperature’’ Starting Procedure (page
46).
