ROPE GUIDE INSTALLATION
Proper positioning of the rope guide is necessary to ensure
the starter rope does not come out of the guide during
normal use.
1. Insert the rope guide through the hole (inner side) on
the right-side handlebar, and then loosely install the
6 mm locking nut onto the threaded end of the rope
guide.
2. Rotate the rope guide so that the bend in the guide
rests parallel to the handlebar.
3. Fully tighten the 6 mm locking nut while ensuring the
rope guide does not rotate from the position set in
step 2.
4. Slide the starter rope through the small gap in the rope
guide pigtail as shown.
