3.7 Operation at low tempreatures
In order to protect the lithium-ion battery, the motor control reduces
the power at low component temperatures.
If the temperature of the lithium-ion battery is too low, the vehicle can
continue to be operated. The lithium-ion battery is not damaged
by the power reduction.
When the temperature of the lithium-ion battery exceeds a threshold
value, full vehicle power is restored after the vehicle is restarted.
The lithium-ion battery heats up when the vehicle is in operation.
