If a Fuse Blows

Circuit Fuses Access

6. To check or replace a circuit fuse (7), pull the old fuse out of its

retaining clips with fuse puller on the underside of the rear fender
cover (page 113).
If the fuse is blown, replace it with a spare fuse (8) of the same
rating.

If you do not have a replacement fuse with the proper rating for the
circuit, install one with a lower rating.

NOTICE

Replacing a fuse with one that has a higher rating greatly increases
the chance of damage to the electrical system.

7. Install the fuse box cover.
8. Install the rear fender cover.
9. Install the seat.
