The storage compartment (1) is located 

under the right side cover (page 27). This 

compartment is for light weight items.

Tool kit, first aid kit and documents should 

be stored in this light weight compartment.
While washing your vehicle, be careful not 

to flood this area with water.

The left side cover must be removed for air 

cleaner element.

Removal:

1.  Remove the screw (1).

2.  Remove the left side cover (2) from 

the bosses (3) of the fuel tank and rear 

cowl.

Installation:

order of removal
