Flooded Engine
If the engine fails to start after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded with excess fuel.
To clear a flooded engine, open the throttle
fully and press the start button for 5
seconds while pushing the engine stop
button. Release the engine stop button and
follow the normal starting procedure.
Ignition Cut Off
Your motorcycle is designed to
automatically stop the engine and fuel pump
if the motorcycle is over-turned (a banking
sensor cuts off the ignition system). Before
restarting the engine, you must turn the
ignition switch to the OFF position and then
back to (ON) position.
RUNNING-IN
Help assure your motorcycle’s future
reliability and performance by paying extra
attention to how you ride during the first
operating day or 25 km (15 miles).
During this period, avoid full-throttle starts
and rapid acceleration.
